Meurem in its inception is directly tied to the fundamentals of all garment construction and design. Creating silhouettes from scratch and allowing the full exploration of an idea, without adhering to traditional garment standards. Starting at the drafting of the initial pattern, testing the fit and measure through muslin samples, to eventually sourcing boutique textiles to create the final garment. This is the start of every piece of clothing we make at Meurem, and our made to order program allows us to give our purest expression through clothing. Handmade garments and samples that through traditional manufacturing methods would be unable to be released. Each piece is individually made to measure in extremely small batches and due to fabric scarcity, are unable to be remade after release. This experience extends past buying a garment online and allows for an open dialogue and conversation with our team and client about the unique story of each garment and everything that goes into them.
